Gaelic for 'bracken', Raineach sits in a half acre of natural garden at the bottom of Ben Laga. A full size conservatory allows you to sit and enjoy the views over Loch Sunart to the Morvern Hills, if you are lucky enough you may see porpoise travelling down the Loch. Bring a supply of wild birdseed & peanuts to keep the bird table stocked and then watch the Pine Marten steal the food left out on an evening. You may even catch a sighting of our visiting stag! In the unlikely event of wet weather (!) the cottage has a selection of books, games and a music centre for your enjoyment; there is a folder with local information. Sky Digital television with limited programmes and DVD Player.

There is walking of all kinds from Raineach, and leaflets and maps are available in the house.
